Isis came to me in a dream last week and demanded that I make her mask.
Seriously.
I try not to make a habit of annoying Goddesses, so I thought I'd better make a start on this one right away.
This is how she stands at the moment. She isn't complete - she is about to become a lot more grand and golden than this, however, I really like the dark carved wood effect I have achieved here and so I am presenting this as an alternate finish.

Me too, but my original plan was for golden wings, and a more traditional Egyptian colour scheme. So I'm going to go with that, and if I ruin it, well, I'll just have to live and learn (and make another). :D

Oh.. Oh WOW!! This is so gorgeous! I am in love with the wings :heart: The texture is really nice~ :heart: And the way they arch up and connect at the top, and frame the beautiful face of the mask... Just stunning! :heart: :heart:

I can't wait to watch the progress on this! :D
