Back again, with exciting news!

Tue Jun 23, 2009, 4:46 AM
Firstly let me say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent their best wishes to me. The past few months have not been easy, but they are behind me now and I'm looking forward once again.
I might take a while to catch up with all my comments and messages, bear with me, but I'm hopefully back on track now.

So - updates. My shoulder isn't back to normal just yet, but it's a LOT better than it was, and it's improving gradually. I'm hopeful that the worst is over, and that if I continue with the physio, I will avoid the need for more drastic treatment in the future.

My mask work is picking up, I've accepted a couple of exciting commissions this week - more about those soon.

But the best news, I've been approached to take part in a Faery Festival later in the year, here in the UK. The other artists taking part include none other than Josephine Wall, Linda Ravenscroft and Brian & Wendy Froud (!!), so it was quite an honour to be contacted and asked if I was interested in taking part. What an opportunity!
So... I'll shortly be turning my attention to lots of faery and goblin themed masks and artwork. The lovely and talented :iconthe-tenebrus: will be exhibiting her fabulous books there too, and I'll post more information here closer to the time.

So exciting! I can't wait.

My name is Michaela Thunberg and I'm from Sweden. I'm organizing a steampunk LARP and I wonder if you'd let me borrow one or two pictures you have put up on DeviantArt for inspiration for our members and workshops. The pictures will be shown on our website which is right now under construction. [link]
Of course we will link to you website and deviantart page and put a copyright-logo with you name on it (either under the picture or on it).

Hope to hear from you soon!

OMG I found your work through a friend! How amazing! I have a leather mask which is of the Green Woman by another artist and it is amazing! I know that this takes a lot of hard work. Your stuff is just breathtaking. Keep up the good work! *is jealous*
You're majorly talented at crafting. Good luck with future jobs! (But then again, it isn't a job if you love it.)
